- Provide and install fixed rail fall protection system
- Two persons per rail with trolley type system
- Provide harnesses, lanyards, and other appropriate accessories
- Electrical and control devices to power and operate the system
- Multiple aircraft positions in each hangar
Eco & Associates designed and installed a fixed rail fall protection system in several hangars at Edwards Air Force Base under a Performance Oriented Construction Activity contract for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
The scope of work was to provide supervision, labor, work plan, design, equipment and construction of the fall protection system. Design drawings were provided in AutoCAD and PDF formats for the design elements containing the stamp of a California PE. Electrical and control devices were installed to operate the system. The project drew upon Eco's strong knowledge of construction and safety standards.
